Very Peri was announced as Pantone’s Colour Of The Year 2022, in November 2021, a brand new colour in Pantone’s range! When used to describe a colour the word ‘periwinkle’ almost always raises the question: “Is it purple, pink, or, blue?”. The team at Pantone has described ‘Very Peri’ as a dynamic periwinkle blue hue with a vivifying violet-red undertone, they added that ‘blending the faithfulness and constancy of blue with the energy and excitement of red, this happiest and warmest of all the blue hues introduces an empowering mix of newness’.
So here it is, a colour of confidence, curiosity, and hope, to inspire you in 2022!

Imagine it’s October, stores are starting to put up decorations, things are beginning to feel festive! With only a few weeks left until Christmas, you’re starting to think about all the time you’ll be spending in the kitchen with friends and family. The next thing you know, you find yourself daydreaming about how lovely it would be to have a new kitchen by Christmas, but is it realistic to start planning a renovation so late in the year?
Unfortunately, it would take nothing short of a miracle to turn your kitchen dreams into a reality if you’re only thinking about it in October. And even if you do manage to find a kitchen contractor that can do it, be careful that your kitchen dreams don’t turn into a nightmare before Christmas.
When one thinks of traditional-style kitchens, grand stately homes quickly spring to mind, yet another image that is easily conjured is that of a cosy cottage with a kitchen filled with charm and character. Homeowners who prefer traditional kitchens are almost always lovers of good food, and they appreciate the art of cooking a hearty meal to be shared with family and friends. Although traditional kitchens have a formal look to them, you can rest assured that anyone who sets foot in this type of kitchen will feel right at home.
